Insurance Cards & Co-Payments
Please bring your insurance card to each visit. We are required to collect co-payments at the time of the visit. We will need to verify your insurance information at every visit, to ensure we have the most up-to-date information. It is ultimately your responsibility to understand your insurance benefits.
Well Child Visits
Many insurance companies only pay for one well child visit each calendar year. Please check with your insurance company about coverage if your appointment is under twelve months from the previous well child examination.
Many insurances cover well/preventive care visits. However, if new medical diagnoses are discussed, changes in management of chronic conditions occur, or medications are refilled or modified, there may be an office visit charge in addition to your comprehensive exam charge. Copays, deductibles, and coinsurances will be applied, per your insurance plan.
Self Pay
Self-pay accounts are patients covered by insurance plans in which Pediatrics of Arlington does not participate, patients without an insurance card on file, or patients who do not have any insurance coverage. Payment is due at time of service.
